Nowadays audiences are bored of action thriller movies, so they want something new and exciting to fill their desires. Director Boyapati Sreenu comes with Akhanda in 2021; this movie breaks all records in box office collection in their category. Due to heavy demand from audiences, director Boyapati Sreenu once again comes with Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, where Nandamuri Balakrishna, Samyuktha, and Aadhi Pinisetty are the main leads.

First half is a mixture of drama, suspense, and thriller, where the whole movie revolves around Harshaali Malhotra, and other co-stars, and Nandamuri Balakrishna as Akhanda appears only three to four times in the whole movie, while on the other side, the second half is the perfect combination of action thriller and devotional, where Nandamuri Balakrishna's fighting scenes and solid dialogues on Sanatan Dharma make you proud of our country's culture.

After giving back-to-back blockbuster movies like Veera Simha Reddy (2023) and Bhagavanth Kesari (2023), Nandamuri Balakrishna once again comes with Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, which is the sequel of Akhanda (2021). Note if you have not seen Akhanda (2021) and are directly jumping to Akhanda 2 (2025), it is a big mistake, because both movies are connected to each other.

Back to the topic, in the first half, Nandamuri Balakrishna's screen presence is limited to three to four scenes, but in the second half, his action scenes and solid dialogue delivery steal the show. If you don't know, I tell you that Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the dual role of Akhanda Rudra Sikandar Aghora and Murali Krishna.

After Gaining popularity through Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) all over India, Harshaali Malhotra now appears in director Boyapati Sreenu's Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, where she plays DRDO scientist Janani. In the first half, she also has limited scenes, but her performance is still outstanding. On the other side, Thaman’s background score is one of the most valuable assets in the film.
