Synopsis 

Dhurandhar is a story of the Kandahar flight hijack in 1999 and the Parliament attack in 2001, so at that time, IB Chief Ajay Sanyal plans a bold mission to destroy a hidden terrorist group in Pakistan, so he chooses his best secret agent, Jaskirat Singh, for the mission. His name is Hamza Ali Mazari. Does Hamza Ali Mazari, aka Jaskirat Singh, succeed in his mission or not? And who is Major Iqbal, and what's his plan?

Hello friends, we all grew up watching lots of secret agent or spy movies in our childhood, like Mission Majnu (2023), IB71 (2023), and Baby (2025), but director Aditya Dhar goes one step ahead after Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019). Now he once again comes with Dhurandhar, an action, suspense, and drama movie where Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal appear on the lead screen, while others, like Gaurav Gera, Bimal Oberoi, and more, appear in supporting roles.

First half is a mixture of some real incidents where drama, suspense, and a little bit of comedy are set in the front seat. Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna are both the backbone of the film; when Ranveer Singh is in action, Akshaye Khanna plays a side role, but when Akshaye Khanna is in the main lead, Ranveer Singh gives him space, while the second half is a mixture of violence, action, and drama where Arjun Rampal covers the full space of the screen.

After giving his solid performance in Singham Again (2024), Ranveer Singh once again appears in Dhurandhar, where he plays the role of Hamza Ali Mazari. The other actors in this film give decent performances, but technically, Dhurandhar is Ranveer Singh's film, wherein the first half, his performance is excellent as a secret agent, but he steals the show in the second half with his action moves and solid dialogue delivery.

After gaining popularity through the Chhaava (2025) movie, where he played Aurangzeb, Akshaye Khanna appears in the main lead in Dhurandhar, where he plays Rehman Dakait. Most of his scenes are filled with violence and suspense, which means you really think about what happens next, while on the other side, R. Madhavan and Sanjay Dutt did decent work, especially in the second half.

I personally watch Dhurandhar two times; the first show I watch with my college friends and the second time with my family, but personally I like the first half of the movie instead of the second half.
