Synopsis 

O Romeo is the story of Ustara, a local gangster who lives with his grandmother on the boat. He is popular for killing people with a sharp razor (Ustara), which is why people call him that. Hello friends, if you're finding crime, thriller, and romantic drama movies on the internet like Kabir Singh (2019), Paayum Puli (2015), and more, I think you're in the right place, because today I am talking about O Romeo, a crime, thriller, and romantic drama movie directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, where Shahid Kapoor, Tripti Dimri, Nana Patekar, and Avinash Tiwary appear the majority of the time on screen, while Tamannaah Bhatia, Disha Patani, Farida Jalal, and Vikrant Massey are present in supporting roles.

First half takes time to introduce all the characters and their past stories, like who is Afshan, why is she seeking the help of Ustara, and why is he killing Mehboob? All the characters are playing roles according to the story, but Vikrant Massey's special appearance shocks everyone because he is very popular in North India due to 12th Fail (2023), while on the other side, the second half is high-voltage action and drama where Shahid Kapoor steals the show with his violence scenes.

Being popular from Animal (2023) and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (2024), Triptii Dimri, who is a national crush, is back in 2023 once again in director Vishal Bhardwaj's O Romeo, where she plays the role of Afsha. The first half of her romantic scenes with Shahid Kapoor is decent, but in the second half, her bold romantic scenes with him are next level.

Nana Patekar's performance as Ismail Khan is awesome but has limited screen presence, while after giving back-to-back hit movies like Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024) and Deva (2025), Shahid Kapoor plays the role of Ustara in O Romeo, where he shines in the first half as a contract killer, but in the second half his fight against Jalal, played by Avinash Tiwary, becomes personal. Here I am saying that the second half is only for true fans of Shahid Kapoor because this time he is not a chocolaty boy he is in full action mode, where violence and action are in the driving seat.
