Synopsis 

Kuberaa is the story of Neeraj, a powerful business magnate who wants full control over newly discovered oil reserves in the Bay of Bengal. So, he decides to give a bribe of one lakh crore rupees to politicians. Deepak, a former CBI officer, becomes the mediator between Neeraj and the politicians to deliver the money safely. He recruits beggars as part of his plan. But a twist comes in the movie when Deva, one of the beggars, goes against him and exposes him. Now, who is Deva? And how will Deepak stop him?

Kuberaa is the most awaited movie of 2025, not just for Dhanush fans but also for Nagarjuna fans, who are eagerly waiting for its release. When I watched this movie, one thing came to my mind: Tamil and Telugu cinema need more films like this. Not for a single second did I feel bored or like I was watching something outdated. I highly recommend this movie to everyone. The best part is, you can enjoy it with your friends and family there are no adult scenes at all.

First half is a mixture of suspense, drama, and action, where Nagarjuna as Deepak steals the show with his solid performance, while the second half is the perfect combination of suspense and some emotional and dramatic scenes where Dhanush as Deva leads.

After the success of Love Story (2021), director Sekhar Kammula once again returns with Kuberaa. The interesting thing about Sekhar Kammula is that he mainly focuses on Telugu movies like Anaamika (2014), Fidaa (2017), and many more. But now, he comes with Kuberaa, a perfect mixture of Tamil and Telugu cinema. Dhanush, who primarily works in Tamil films, and Nagarjuna, who is a big name in Telugu cinema, come together for the first time. That's why Kuberaa is the most awaited movie of this year.

After delivering back-to-back superhits like Captain Miller and Raayan, Dhanush once again returns in Kuberaa, where he appears opposite Nagarjuna. In the first half, his performance is decent as a beggar wearing torn clothes, looking unbathed for several days, and with disheveled hair. But in the second half, he transforms into one of the most powerful characters, destroying both Deepak and Neeraj within seconds.

After delivering the superhit Naa Saami Ranga in 2024, Nagarjuna completely disappeared from the Telugu industry. Now, after one year, he finally appears on screen again. In the first half, his performance is outstanding; he delivers exactly what was expected from him. In the second half, when he and Dhanush come together, their scenes are truly watchable and engaging.

Kuberaa has a great story and features a strong cast from both the Telugu and Tamil industries. However, due to its long runtime, the audience may lose patience, and some songs, particularly in the second half, are not very engaging.
