Synopsis
Devil's Double Next Level is the story of Krishnamoorthy, aka Kissa47, a movie reviewer who damages a producer’s reputation with a bad review. To take revenge on Krishna, he is sent into a film along with his entire family, and they all become characters in the movie. The twist comes when dangerous killers, a curse, a haunted house, and more killers appear in the movie, and Krishna has to save his family and his girlfriend, who are caught in this trap. Will Krishna be able to save his family and his girlfriend or not?

As we know, Devil's Double Next Level is the fourth installment in the Dhilluku Dhuddu film series, where Santhanam's comedy and horror scenes are the backbone of the movie.
The first half of the movie shines with its comedy, where Santhanam’s dark humor truly steals the show. However, the second half doesn’t maintain the same level of interest. With the focus resting almost entirely on a single character, the narrative begins to feel monotonous. While there's no doubt that Santhanam is a talented actor, the lackluster performances from the supporting cast make the film feel unbalanced and less engaging.
Every movie's success depends on 4 pillars: the first is the movie story, the second is the comedy level, the third is the music, and last but not least cast selection. Now, in this paragraph, we totally focus on music, which is the third pillar of every movie.
As we know, the devil's double next level "Kissa 47" soundtrack and background is composed by OfRo, who also gives its music in DD Returns (2023). The music is good, but its BGM is very loud, particularly in the second half of the movie. While the comedy aspects are very strong of this movie, we see VTV Ganesh and Mottai Rajendran together on the same screen.
After the back-to-back success of Vadakkupatti Ramasamy and Inga Naan Thaan Kingu Santhanam who knows if dark comedy and silly jokes will once again come back with Devil's Double Next Level, where in the first half his performance is decent and a YouTuber reviews movies, while in the second half his performance is faded due to a sudden change in the movie script , because audiences want comedy and makers deliver seriousness in the Santhanam's character.

First is the perfect combination of comedy, drama, and horror, but the second half is less interesting compared to the first one. The music department did a good job, but if the makers focused more on VFX instead of stretching the movie.
