Plus Points (+)
The film begins at a relatively slow pace as Nelson establishes the setting and introduces the characters. However, the narrative gradually picks up through his trademark dark humor and well-timed comedy. The portions featuring Yogi Babu and Namo Narayana provide several enjoyable moments. Meanwhile, Rajinikanth’s screen presence and stylish mannerisms bring the expected energy to the film. Anirudh’s background score further elevates the key sequences. Although the screenplay follows a familiar commercial template, Nelson keeps the first half engaging through his presentation. The interval block delivers one of the film’s biggest highlights and sets the stage for an eventful second half.
The second half takes the story in a more action-oriented direction. It brings together intense confrontations, surprise appearances and several mass moments. The Goa episode adds an entertaining touch, while the emotional sequences give the story more depth. Nelson balances these elements with Rajinikanth’s trademark style and larger-than-life presence. As a result, the film continues to offer several moments for fans to celebrate. The portions featuring SJ Suryah and Vidya Balan add another layer to the central conflict. Meanwhile, the pre-climax and climax deliver notable moments that keep the narrative engaging
Minus Points (-)
SJ Suryah brings his distinctive screen presence to the conflict, while Vidya Balan plays a significant role in the narrative. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Namo Narayana and Yogi Babu also contribute to the film’s entertainment. Their comedy works particularly well in the first half. Supporting actors Ramya Krishnan and Mirnaa further strengthen the film’s dramatic and emotional moments. They also contribute to the lighter portions, helping maintain the film’s overall entertainment value.
