Plus Points (+)
Hello friends, if you are looking for the best comedy, drama, and action Tamil movie on the internet in 2026, you are in the right place, because today I talk about Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, a comedy-drama-action movie where Jiiva, Prathana Nathan, and Thambi Ramaiah are in the lead roles, while on the other side Anuraj, Ilavarasu, Jenson Dhivakar, Sarjin Kumar, Jaiwanth, and more appear in supporting roles.
First half is a mixture of comedy, drama, and some action scenes, where Jiiva as the panchayat representative steals the show with his comedy dialogues & Prathana Nathan, whose role is limited, adds beauty and romantic taste to the movie, while the second half is the combination of drama, action, and political angles.
After giving back-to-back hit movies in Malayalam like Magneto (2019) and Falimy (2023), director Nithish Sahadev now puts his hands in the Tamil industry now he comes with Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, which is a village story. Here I appreciate his hard work, where he comes up with something new and unique, content that the audience loves.
After a mixed response from Aghathiyaa (2025), Amar Choudary, aka Jiiva, once again comes back with Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil, where he plays Jeevarathnam, who is a panchayat representative in the fictional rural village in Tamil Nadu. In the first half, his performance is outstanding, and he looks good in the shirt and pants like a local politician, but in the second half, his performance is decent, where action and political angles are sitting in the driving seat.
Minus Points (-)
First half is very engaging and interesting compared to the second half. The whole paragraph is in one line. First half is a mixture of comedy and drama, but in the second half, the movie turns to a political angle.
