Plus Points (+)
After Max (2024), director Vijay Kartikeyaa and actor Kiccha Sudeep once again work together in Mark (2025). Most people think that Mark is the sequel to Max, but that's not true. Yes, it is true that both movies are directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa and have the same lead cast, but the story is totally different.
First half is the mixture of drama, suspense, and action, where Yogi Babu's comedy and B. Ajaneesh Loknath's background music add five stars to the movie, while the second half is the combination of drama, suspense, and violence, where Kiccha Sudeep appears in a new avatar, which we miss in the Max (2024) movie.
Being popular through Eega (2012), Sudeep Sanjeev, aka Sudeepa, once again comes with Vijay Kartikeyaa's film Mark, where he is playing the Ajay Markhandaya role. In the first half, his performance is decent, meaning low action and large drama, but in the second half, everything changes. If you are a fan of Sudeepa, one thing you notice is that he believes in action. Other heroes give large dialogues and are busy in romance, but Sudeepa is a totally action-oriented hero.
Shine Tom Chacko, who plays the Adikeshava role in this film, steals the show with solid dialogue delivery and action scenes, while on the other side Naveen Chandra, aka Bhadra, plays a typical villain role with anger issues. Is he back to kidnapping children or something else?
Minus Points (-)
The first half is interesting for those audiences who love Kiccha Sudeep's comedy and entry style, and the second half is for those who love action thriller drama and violence.
