Plus Points (+)
After giving back-to-back movies like Apothecary (2014) and Ilayaraja (2019), director Madhav Ramadasan once again comes back with Aazhi, where R. Sarathkumar, Indrajith Jagajith, and Devika Satheesh appear in the lead cast.
First half is a mixture of drama, suspense, and some action scenes, where R. Sarathkumar's dialogue delivery and way of asking questions are the center of attraction, while the second half is the perfect combination of drama and suspense. You literally think, What's happening next and the best thing about this movie is that you can't predict it because here director Madhav Ramadasan comes with a unique storyline.
Hello friends, we already watched lots of old-school drama movies where the villain kidnaps or kills a close relative of the hero, and the hero takes their revenge, but Aazhi comes with a completely unique concept where there is no emotional drama, only suspense, drama, and action, and the majority of the film is shot on the boat.
After given back-to-back super hit movies in the past, like 3BHK (2025) and Dude (2025), R. Sarathkumar once again appears in Aazhi, an action, thriller, and drama movie. In the first half, his performance is decent as a brother of Mukila, but in the second half, the movie becomes personal, where once again R. Sarathkumar proves why audiences like his thriller and drama movie.
Indrajith Jagajith as Arul and Devika Satheesh Mukila's performances are awesome, but Jassie's Gift background music is the backbone of the movie.
Minus Points (-)
The second half is very engaging and interesting compared to the first half. R. Sarathkumar is the center of attraction, and Jassie Gift's background music is the backbone of the movie.
