Plus Points (+)

After the mixed response to Theerkadarishi (2023), Director L. R. Sundarapandi once again comes back with Fourth Floor, a horror drama movie where Aari Arujunan, Pavithra Aravind, and Deepshikha Chandran appear in the lead cast.

Hello friends, we already watch lots of horror crime thriller drama movies like The House Next Door (2017), 13B: Fear Has a New Address (2009), and more, but Director L. R. Sundarapandi goes one step ahead; he comes with Fourth Floor, a complete horror drama movie with a new cast and unique storyline.

The best thing about Fourth Floor is you can watch this movie with your friends or family, and if you have children who are 13+, they can enjoy this movie because there are no adult or dark comedy scenes in this movie, only pure horror and dramatic scenes.

After giving back-to-back solid hits with movies like Nenjuku Needhi (2022) and Ellaam Mela Irukuravan Paathuppan (2023), Aari Arujunan once again appears in Fourth Floor, where he plays the role of Dheeran; his performance is decent. In the first half, but he shines in the second half, where he solves the mystery of 4A at Royal Town in Chennai. Dharan Kumar's scary background music, especially in the first half, steals the show.

Deepshikha Chandran as Swetha and Pavithra Aravind as Anu give decent performances, but Aari Arujunan is the backbone of the movie.

Minus Points (-)

First half is the real strength of this movie, where Dharan Kumar's scary background music plays an important role, while the second half is a mixture of drama, thriller, and horror.
