Synopsis 

Subedaar is the story of Arjun Maurya, who is the retired army officer who returns to his hometown after losing his wife, Sudha. His bond with his daughter Shyama Maurya is not so good, but his life completely changes when Softy Bhaiyya and her half-brother Prince enter his life. They work for Babli Didi she is now locked up in prison under Section 302 and her illegal sand-smuggling empire. Softy Bhaiyya and Prince but what happens when a retired army officer goes against sand-smugglers? Is he alone winning this battle or not?

Hello friends, when I was watching the Subedaar movie directed by Suresh Triveni, I suddenly remembered Yash's KGF (2018) and Anushka Sharma's NH10 because there are some scenes in this movie, especially in the second half, where Radhika Madan's performance as Shyama Maurya reminds me of the NH10 movie.

Back to the topic, after giving back-to-back social drama movies like Tumhari Sulu (2017) and Jalsa (2022), Director Suresh Triveni once again comes back with Subedaar, an action, thriller, and social drama movie where Anil Kapoor, Radhika Madan, Mona Singh, and Faisal Malik appear in the lead cast.

First half is the mixture of drama, thriller, and action, where '90s superstar Anil Kapoor steals the show with his action scenes, particularly in the second half of the movie, while the second half is the perfect combination of drama, family, and action, where Rohan Vinayak's energetic background music is the backbone of the movie.

You know that Bobby Deol is the first 90s actor who's come back to shock the whole Bollywood industry through the movie Animal (2023), then Sunny Deol with Border 2 (2026) and Gadar 2 (2023). Now Anil Kapoor joins this trend, with his movie Subedaar trending on Gen Z's Instagram feed.

After being given back-to-back patriotism movies like Fighter (2024) and War 2 (2025), Anil Surinder Kapoor, aka Anil Kapoor, once again appears in Suresh Triveni's Subedaar, where he plays the role of Arjun Maurya, a retired army officer. The first half is performed as a father and is excellent, but in the second half, he activates the action mood.
