Synopsis
Ananthan Kaadu is the story of Vetri Vel Kumaran, a Sri Lankan Tamil refugee who loses his family in the civil war and moves to Kerala to start a new life where he works with Krishnankutty and his gang, who are contract killers working for the chief minister. You know that the best thing about the Ananthan Kaadu movie is its production value. In simple language, director Jiyen Krishnakumar creates an atmosphere like we are in the '90s era, where local gangs fight each other to control the area and show their dominance.
The Movie begins with Sri Lanka's civil war, where many people died and bodies and houses burnt. Scenes are highlighted, then the camera focuses on Vetri Vel Kumaran, our hero, how he escapes Sri Lanka, and how he meets Krishnankutty and his gang, fully covered in the first half of the movie, while the second totally focuses on the decline of Krishnankutty and his gang.
Yes, it is correct that Arya, who plays the role of Vetri Vel Kumaran, is the main lead actor in this movie, but Indrans as Krishnankutty stole the show with their dialogues.

On paper the movie script is good, but the execution is very bad. If the makers focused more on directing and editing, the movie should become more enjoyable for audiences because the movie has no real-life emotions, only action and drama, but the editing is also very bad because there are lots of unnecessary scenes in this movie that don't add any type of value to the movie.
Cast selection is amazing, but if makers give more freedom to Arya, especially in the first half, it is good for audiences' perceptions because sometimes his dialogues look like copy-paste from AI.
