Synopsis
Nooru Sami is based on the true story of Selvi, who lost her husband at a young age. She raised her two children Bhaskar and Vandhana in struggling days, but when she expressed a desire to remarry in front of her children, they hated her and said Shame on you Mom. But when her children became young, they realized the pain of their lonely mother, so they decided to introduce her to Elumalai, a sugarcane farmer who deeply loves Selvi. So they fixed a marriage date, but some villagers were against this marriage they believed that due to this marriage, the village's honor would be lost. What's happening next? Is this marriage happening or not?

Many Vijay Antony fans think that Vijay Antony is the lead actor in this movie, but when I was watching this movie in the theater, I was shocked to see that Vijay Antony only appears in the second half in a small role, but Swasika, Vijay, and Ajay Dhishan appear on the screen majority of the time. Where first half is the mixture of drama and emotional scenes where Swasika Vijay's portrayal is next level, while the second half comes with many ups and downs where Vijay Antony's limited scenes with Swasika Vijay are the backbone of the movie.
As we know, every movie's success depends on 4 pillars: the first is the movie story, the second is the comedy level, the third is the music, and last but not least is cast selection. We totally focus on cast selection, which is the fourth pillar of every movie.
After giving her wonderful performance in many movies like Retro (2025) and Maaman (2025), Pooja Vijay, aka Swasika Vijay, once again appears in director Sasi's film Nooru Sami, where she shines in the first half due to her emotional moments and scenes in this movie where she cries in distress while sitting and eating with her sons is moving because she is playing a woman's role who locks her desire inside.

Most of Vijay Antony's fans are waiting for the Nooru Sami movie to see their hero on the silver screen because the last time Vijay Antony appeared was in Shakthi Thirumagan (2025), but when I was watching this movie, I was surprised to see that Vijay Antony only appears in the second half for a limited time period, which is a little bit disappointing for his fans.
Second half is more interesting and engaging compared to the first one because the second half comes with action, drama, and suspense, but if the makers don't try to fittiin comedy dialogues in the places of emotional moments, this will be better for the movie.
