After success of DJ Tillu which was released in 2022 , Siddhu Jonnalagadda comes with next part Tillu Square , where he is an event planner instead of being a DJ , Dj Square movie is the mixture of Comedy and Drama , where Anupama Parameswaran play an important role to create suspense , First I appreciate Hard work of Director Malik Ram and his team to recreate same magic which were spread in DJ Tillu times,
Back to topic , First half is the combination of Comedy and Romance, where we see romantic scenes between Tillu and Lilly like back-to-back hot scenes and lip locks, Here adding taste of romance in first half . Director trying to attract youth audience but when Radhika enters in movie everything runs normal like no romantic scenes only drama and Litte bit comedy.
There are lots of pressure on new director Malik Ram , Because DJ Tillu time Vimal Krishna set benchmark of success now turn of Malik Ram to not break expectations of audience set by DJ Tillu times. But luckily public appreciate work of Malik Ram where Siddhu Jonnalagadda comedy and Anupama Parameswaran bold character play important role for grabbing audience attention.
One more thing responsible for movie success is re-entry of Radhika ( Neha Shetty ) , There are many Director's do this type mistake when they sign new cast or new lead actor in second part of movie instead of orginal cast . Here I provide example of Welcome Back movie which was released in 2015 , Welcome is Bollywood movie which breaks all Box office records in 2007 but when Director Anees Bazmee Signed instead of Akshay Kumar, he had signed John Abraham in Welcome back second part of welcome Film , So audience can't connect to John Abraham acting and movie finally crashed on box office collection.
Here new director Malik Ram takes good decision to sign Neha Shetty in movie, where she is not an lead actress . But her presence spreads same vibes of DJ Tellu .
Siddhu Jonnalagadda is a lead actor and play role of Tillu , He is becames popular through DJ Tellu movie, Where his comedy and funny dialogues gave him title of comedy master where audience appreciated his performance and acting , now he is in same role of tillu but movie story is different , but his comedy and way of speaking dialogues are same .
He is an writer , so he knows that what's audience wants to him , and what not . There is no wrong . If we say Siddhu single-handedly carried the whole film on his shoulders from the first shot until the last.
Anupama Parameswaran is an lead actress and play role of Lilly , First half her romantic scenes attracts more young youth towards her , other side her innocence but bold dialogues play an important role to create suspence and thriller in second half .
Neha Shetty re-entry stole the show with her brief yet stunning appearance of course as Radhika. She look very beautiful in movie and her performance and supportive dialogues appreciate by public. Other side Murli Sharma, Muralidhar Goud, Prince, and others have limited time on screen but still they are very important part of movie.
Minus Points (-)
Tillu-Lilly doesn’t repeat the magic of Tillu-Radhika . First half Lilly performance is wonderful but in second half her performance is little bit faded due to entry of Radhika.
The sequel begins exactly where the first part ends. But in first half movie runs slow and best thing is completely filled with comedy and romance but few scenes don’t work as intended. So it looks like audience expectations are little bit break towards Lead cast.
Murli Sharma, Muralidhar Goud, Prince are very talented actor's but their appriance on screen are very limited and some cast only appears once on screen.
Technical Aspects
Malik Ram is a new director of movie but still in his direction movie run well on box office collection but due to Anupama Parameswaran as Lilly lead actress doesn’t repeat the magic of Tillu-Radhika . While other side Ram Miryala and Achu Rajamani did a good job with the songs
while other side background music provided by Bheems Ceciroleo is amazing and where he use different type of bgm in first half and second half which changes audience mood according to situation.
The editing by Navin Nooli is decent and cinematography done by Sai Prakash , where he more focus on Siddhu Jonnalagadda first half and Neha Shetty in second half of movie which indirectly highlighted lead cast.
Conclusion
Overall Movie story is unique and climex comes with Neha Shetty , First half is the combination of Comedy, Romance and Drama, while other side second half is completely filled with Drama , Action and Comedy.
