Synopsis
Hari Hara Veera Mallu is the story of Veera Mallu, a Robin Hood who works for money. His mission in Kollur (Karnataka) is to win the trust of the King of Kollur and escape with Panchami. Everything goes according to his plan. Later Qutub Shah hires him to recover the legendary Koh-i-Noor diamond, which is now in the possession of Aurangzeb. But who is Panchami, and why does he escape with her? What is the old rivalry between Aurangzeb, the current king of Delhi, and Veera Mallu?
Plus Points (+)
After delays of years and years, now Hari Hara Veera Mallu is released on the silver screen, where Pawan Kalyan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Bobby Deol appear in the lead cast.
The first half is more interesting and engaging compared to the second half because the first half includes everything an audience expects to see in a film, like action, thriller, and solid dialogue delivery. Here we talk about three particular action scenes that blow your mind if you're a true fan of Pawan Kalyan's fighting scenes: the Machilipatnam port fight, the Charminar battle, and the Kushti fight in Kollur. While the second half is good in terms of suspense and drama, most of the story is deliberately held back for the sequel.
After the back-to-back success of Bro (2023) and Bheemla Nayak (2022), Konidela Pawan Kalyan, aka Pawan Kalyan, once again appears in the lead cast of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, where he is playing the role of Veera Mallu. In the first half, his performance is outstanding as Veera Mallu, a Hindu warrior who fights against Aurangzeb, a king of Delhi. In the second half, his dialogue delivery is excellent, but his action scenes are poorly written.
After performing the Udhiran role in Kanguva (2024) and the Balwanth Singh Thakur role in Daaku Maharaaj (2025), Bobby Deol once again appears in a negative role as Aurangzeb in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, where his brutal scenes, particularly in the second half, overshadow Pawan Kalyan’s performance.
Minus Points (-)
As we already discussed above, the first half is very good and interesting compared to the second one. Now we go ahead. After playing the role of Mythili Prasad in Kalaga Thalaivan (2022), she appears in the lead role in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, but she has limited screen time compared to her other co-stars in this film.
