Plus Points (+)
Hello friends, we already watched lots of movies on premature baldness like Bala (2019), Gone Kesh (2019), Bald (2008), and more, but director Naveedh S. Fareedh comes with Sotta Sotta Nanaiyuthu, a movie that totally focuses on how premature baldness ruins a person's life and how to deal with society.
The first half is a mixture of comedy and drama; the majority of the time Nishanth Russo and Shaalini appear on the screen. Their romantic comedy scenes are well written and completely natural. From my perspective, the first half is 2x better than the second half because in the second half, the movie lost its core plot and revolved around an artificial mode. No doubt Varshini Venkat is the most talented actress in Tamil cinema, but the love chemistry between Varshini Venkat and Nishanth Russo is looking artificial and faded compared to Nishanth Russo and Shaalini.
After giving back-to-back superhit movies like Seesaw (2025) and Parundhaaguthu Oor Kuruvi (2023), Nishanth Russo once again appears in Sotta Sotta Nanaiyuthu, where his performance and romantic scenes with Shaalini are wonderful in the first half, his performance is outstanding and watchable.
Minus Points (-)
Director Naveedh S Fareedh comes with Sotta Sotta Nanaiyuthu, where the cast section to editing everything is very good, but the first half is 2x better than the second half because the first half provides everything that the user wants, like comedy, drama, and romance.
