Synopsis
Baahubali: The Epic is the story of Sivudu. He lives in a forest with his tribal parents, who adopted him. Sivudu loves his mother very much. She is a great devotee of Lord Shiva, and every day she brings water from far away to pour on the Shiva Lingam. One day, Sivudu feels bad for her and lifts the big Shiva Lingam and keeps it under a waterfall so she doesn’t have to walk so far. Later, Sivudu comes to know that he is the son of Devasena. What happens next?

After giving back-to-back blockbuster movies like RRR (2022), Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), S. S. Rajamouli now once again comes with Baahubali: The Epic (2025), which is the merger of Baahubali 1 and 2.
First, I think that both Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017) are now available on OTT platforms, so why would audiences go to theaters to watch them? But I am wrong; the majority of Prabhas fans are still waiting at the ticket counter, including me and my friends. Yesterday weMagadheera (2009), directed by S. S. Rajamouli, again.
If you have already watched Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), that's good; if not, you can watch it now. The first half is completely filled with Baahubali: The Beginning (2015), where the romantic relation between Prabhas and Tamannaah Bhatia has been shortened and some songs, like Pachabottu, Irrrukupo, and Kanna Nidurinchava, have been removed to make the movie not longer for audiences, while the second half begins with the opening festival in Mahishmathi’s tradition and Sivagami begins searching for a bride for Amarendra Baahubali. Here, too, some songs and war scenes have been trimmed to decrease the duration of the movie.
After giving back-to-back superhit movies like Kalki 2898 AD (2024) and voiceover in Mirai (2025), directed by Karthik Gattamneni, now we see Prabhas again in action mode in Baahubali: The Epic. We have lots of past memories with this film because in 2015 we saw only romantic and comedy movies in this era. Prabhas and S. S. Rajamouli's movie created history in Indian cinema, and Baahubali 1's box office record was broken by Baahubali 2. No other film, including Bollywood, Tollywood, or other language movies, can reach Baahubali 1's box office record. That's what makes this movie great, and S. S. Rajamouli is the best director in Indian film history till now.

No doubt Baahubali: The Epic is the perfect merger of both Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017), but the makers don't add anything new and trim some war scenes and songs from both parts.
