Synopsis
Mr. X is the story of Gautham, who is the RAW agent currently running missions in Chennai where a nuclear device with plutonium capsules falls into the hands of antagonist Rana, whose plan is a nuclear attack on the city where the G20 summit occurs. Hello friends, if you want the same vibes when you watch the Tom Cruise Mission: Impossible movie series or any Hollywood spy action drama movie, I think Mr. X movie is perfect for you because in this movie you will get everything you expect from any type of big-budget movie: action, thriller, drama, and suspense, and you will be shocked in the ending when you know who the real villain is in this movie. It simply means in the spy world you don't know who is your friend or enemy.
First half is the mixture of drama, action, and suspense scenes where Arya and Gautham Ram Karthik's acting and dialogue delivery are next level, while the second half comes with an unexpected villain. Through this movie you will know how a secret agency works (RAW) and what type of work is assigned to secret agents.
After given back-to-back movies like Coffee with Kadhal (2022) and Kathar Basha Endra Muthuramalingam (2023), Jamshad Cethirakath, aka Arya, once again appears in director Manu Anand's Mr. X, where he plays Gautham, aka Businessman. In the first half, his performance is good, but in the second, he becomes a warrior who goes to any length to protect his nation.
