Synopsis
Blast is the story of Arjun, a martial arts trainer who lives with his wife Neelaveni and daughter Nila, who believes in always fighting against injustice. The best thing about his family is everyone knows martial arts. Everything is running smoothly and peacefully, but due to Arjun's ideology always fighting against injustice, he falls into a deadly trap of a dangerous gangster group who are involved in an illegal deal. What happens next? Does Arjun safely rescue his family or not?

Hello friends, we grew up watching lots of movies on martial arts and karate, like Kung Fu Hustle (2004), IP Man (2008), The Karate Kid (2010), and more, but Director Subash K. Raj goes one step ahead; he now comes with the Blast movie where Arjun Sarja, Preity Mukhundhan, and Abhirami Gopikumar appear in the lead cast, while on the other side, John Kokken, who plays the negative role in this movie, leads the whole second half.
As we discussed above, we all grew up watching lots of movies on martial arts, judo, and karate, and if you're from the north side, I definitely say that you've once in your life heard Jackie Chan's name, a popular actor from Hong Kong. Back to the topic, the first half is totally revolving around family drama and some interesting scenes of martial arts where Arjun Sarja fits in this role, while the second half is the mixture of action, suspense, and drama where Preity Mukhundhan's performance is outstanding.
