Synopsis
KD: The Devil is the story of Kaalidasa, a young uneducated person who is a fan of Dhak Deva, an underworld don in Bengaluru whom even the police fear. He falls in love with Machhlakshmi, a bold, outspoken, spirited girl whose vibes match with Kaalidasa's, but his life completely changes when he enters the underworld and stands against his idol, Dhak Deva, who is threatening Kaalidasa's family to kill them all. Why Kaalidasa comes in the underworld is this a trap or his own decision, and how does he save his family from Dhak Deva?

Hello friends, we already watched lots of movies on violence like K.G.F: Chapter 1 (2018), K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022), Kill (2023) and more, but director Kiran Kumar, aka Prem, goes one step ahead; he once again comes back with KD: The Devil, an action, drama, and thriller movie where Dhruva Sarja, Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty, Reeshma Nanaiah, Ramesh Aravind, and more appear in the lead cast.
First half is the mixture of action, drama, and suspense where Dhruva Sarja and Sanjay Dutt are the biggest assets of the movie, meaning the whole movie revolves around them; other co-stars' roles change according to the script, but their roles are constant. The second half is the perfect combination of violence, drama, and thriller, where Sanjay Dutt's solid dialogue delivery and Arjun Janya's background music are the backbone of the movie.
After mixed responses from Martin (2024), Dhruva Sarja once again appears in director Prem's movie KD: The Devil, where he appears in the lead cast and plays Kaalidasa's role. In the first half, his performance is like you are watching the movie Kaithi (2019), while the second is only for those audiences who love violence and drama.
After playing Adheera's role in K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022), Antony Das in Leo (2023), SP Chaudhary Aslam in Dhurandhar (2025), and more, now our favorite villain Sanjay Dutt once again appears in director Prem's movie KD the Devil, where he is playing Dhak Deva's role, who is the underworld don in Bengaluru in the 1970s. In the first half his performance is decent, but in the second he becomes Balaram of Khal Nayak (1993).
