Synopsis
Kara is the story of Karasaami aka Kara who lives in Thiruverumbur but due to robbery charge kara and his wife Selli return to Ramanathapuram a village in Tamil nadu where he think to sell his father agriculture land but the ground slipping under feet when he knows that his father Kandhasaami is drowning in debt how Kara attempts to restore his family’s lost pride and reclaim their land from ruthless bankers And why DSP Bharathan wants to catch him ?

If you're the true fan of Dhanush, one thing you notice is that nowadays he mostly appears in social drama movies like Idli Kadai (2025) and Vaathi (2023), which impact society, wherein in the first half he appears in the role of a thief who targets rich residences of Kara. The first half is the soul of the movie where Dhanush's performance is like you are watching a sequel of Idli Kadai (2025), while the second half is the mixture of emotional drama and social message where the cinematography of Theni Eswar is the asset of the movie.
Best thing about this movie is you can watch it with friends and family without thinking about adult scenes or dark comedy because this is an action-drama movie that comes with a social message in the ending. On the other side, we hear lots of times that music is the mirror of the movie, which represents what type of movie this is, and when we think about music in Tamil cinema, the first name that comes to our mind is G. V. Prakash Kumar. His music is decent, but background music is the backbone of the movie.
